As a French-speaking speech-language pathologist based in Madrid, I specialize in working with bilingual and multilingual children who have difficulties with spoken language, reading, writing, or learning.
Before becoming a speech-language pathologist, I worked as an elementary school teacher for several years. That early experience has given me a deeper understanding of the academic challenges children face, the expectations of the school, and the concerns of families.
I hold a degree in speech-language pathology from the Complutense University of Madrid, and I also received hospital-based training in the treatment of various disorders, including those related to swallowing, voice, facial paralysis, and certain neurological conditions.
Today, my practice focuses primarily on French-speaking, bilingual, or multilingual children. In particular, I provide support for oral and written language disorders, attention and memory disorders, and difficulties with mathematics up through fourth grade, as well as certain swallowing disorders.
For the past ten years, I have been working with students at the Lycée Français de Madrid, both in-office and, since 2020, through tele-speech therapy, with students attending various French schools around the world.
I am bilingual in French and Spanish and have conversational English skills. I pay close attention to each child’s linguistic, academic, and family background in order to provide clear, personalized, and supportive guidance.
