Psychology

1. Can psychology help with ADHD?

Yes. The psychologist supports the child and family in managing attention, impulsivity, and academic and emotional organization.

2. My child is gifted; why should I see a psychologist?

A HPI child may experience difficulties adapting, anxiety, or a disconnect with their peers. Psychological support helps them to better understand and channel their emotions.

3. Does a child with dyslexia need to see a psychologist?

Often yes, as a complement to speech therapy. The psychologist helps manage self-confidence, stress, and any academic or relationship difficulties.

4. What about speech delay?

Psychologists do not deal directly with language, but they can support children and families in managing frustration, behavior, or schooling.

5. How does psychological counseling work?

After an initial consultation, the psychologist offers personalized support (individual consultations, family or parental follow-up, tests if necessary).
